01
Method
Clear about what we know. Clearer about what we don't.
Slow Wave is designed to reduce the gap between online sleep talk and the research it points to—or fails to point to.
02
Find the research record
We match a claim to relevant studies and primary journal or PubMed records. We do not invent references, participant counts, or certainty.03
Grade the evidence
Grades weigh study design, size, consistency, relevance, and limitations. A high grade does not turn general research into personal medical advice.04
Human review before publishing
A reviewer checks the wording, verdict, source links, and uncertainty. No community content goes live until it passes review.Publishing standard
Claims are never published alone.
Every published topic shows the community claim and an evidence verdict side by side. If we cannot verify a relevant source, we choose a different topic or label uncertainty plainly.
Grades A–D describe evidence strength, not personal risk.
“Review pending” makes an unreviewed entry unmistakable.
The library is informational only and does not diagnose or treat sleep concerns.
